Library services

Here at the University of Greater Manchester we have three libraries.

The Peter Marsh Library is the larger of the two and is located in Chancellor’s Mall, the second is Queens Library, Queens Specialist Building, the third is Medical Library, Institute of Medicine.

In addition to printed books, the Library has over 250,000 eBooks and over a million journal articles. Online or face-to-face appointments are available with Academic Liaison Librarians, covering a large topic of support areas from everything research-related to referencing.

Outside of the one-to-one appointments, there will also be a limited number of workshops and drop-ins across the campus, designed to provide extra hands-on support.

Please see the Library website for more details on when these will be running. Furthermore, you will see the Academic Liaison Librarians in class sessions, we look forward to supporting you to succeed during your time studying here.
