Student Testimonials

“Try at least one society, sports club, or welcome events – even if you feel a bit shy at first. Getting involved is the easiest way to meet people, discover new interests and settle into university life. Small steps like joining a study group or attending a workshop can make a big difference. Just being friendly and willing to interact helped me a lot.”

- Nnamdi, MSc Robotics, Autonomous Systems and Telecommunications

“Don’t wait to get involved with campus life until you ‘feel ready’. Starting off early (even if just a little) helps to build momentum. Being active in campus activities gave me the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals.”

- Maria, BSc (Hons) Dental Technology
