We recognise the important role teachers and advisers play in supporting learners as they explore their options and plan their next steps. That’s why we work with schools and colleges to offer a range of activities, both on and off campus, helping learners explore higher education, discover what university life is like and make informed decisions about their future.
We can work with you to plan a programme for your students, including subject sessions, campus tours and opportunities to speak to our staff and students.
Our team can tailor the visit to suit your school or college and the areas you’d like your students to explore.
We offer a range of talks and sessions covering topics such as choosing a course, applying to university, student life and finance. Sessions can also help students understand what to expect when they start university and give them the opportunity to ask questions about their options.
Come and speak to our team at one of the events below to find out more about studying at UGM, ask questions and explore your options for higher education.
We offer a range of subject taster sessions led by our academic teams, giving students the opportunity to explore subjects at higher education level and find out more about what studying at university could involve.
Depending on the subject, sessions may include opportunities to explore specialist equipment, facilities and practical activities, giving students a chance to discover more about their subject and ask questions about studying at UGM.
Fancy a look around? You can explore our campus with our friendly Student ambassadors. From study spots to our 50ft climbing wall, we’ll show you everything UGM has to offer!
We can offer a variety of general talks and presentations to help with the transition into higher education. From student finance and budgeting to how to apply and why you should consider university. Combined with our subject taster days, these talks can contribute to an informative and inspirational trip to our campus.
