& You: Inside the
Anxious Mind
Fraunces in 600 weight (bold) carries a distinctive, confident personality. It blends the refinement of traditional editorial type with a fresh, modern edge, giving it a voice that feels both authoritative and approachable. Its high contrast strokes and elegant curves nod to classic serif typography, while its crisp finish and contemporary proportions make it perfectly at home in digital environments.
In use, it delivers impact – headlines feel considered and deliberate, with a tone that is journalistic and intelligent, yet never cold. It’s the kind of font that can carry a campaign headline, introduce a feature article, or frame a student story with equal strength. Fraunces adds depth and style to the brand, ensuring key messages stand out and resonate.

3 Ways to Boost Your CV
Fraunces is reserved exclusively for primary headings and headlines. Its strong personality and high visual impact make it best suited for short, prominent text rather than body copy. Limiting its use to titles ensures it retains its distinctiveness and allows it to act as a clear visual signpost across our communications.

Accessible and easy to read
Lexend Deca is a clean, modern sans-serif with a friendly character, helped by its distinctive single-storey “a” without a tail. Designed for maximum legibility, it features generous letter spacing, open shapes, and balanced proportions that make it easy to read across all devices and in print. Originally developed with research into reading speed and accessibility, its design helps reduce visual stress and supports readers with dyslexia and other reading difficulties.
We use Lexend Deca for all body copy in Regular weight, set at 150% line height on the web for comfortable reading. Bold weight is used for emphasis. For digital and print layouts, text columns should be no longer than 14 words per line, making it easier to scan and process information quickly. This combination of thoughtful design, accessible typesetting, and reader-friendly layout ensures our communications are clear, inclusive, and approachable.

Georgia for headings
When Fraunces and Lexend Deca are not available – for example, in emails, PowerPoint presentations, or other platforms with limited font support – use Georgia for headings and Arial for body copy. Georgia’s classic serif style provides a similar sense of authority and elegance to Fraunces, while Arial offers the clarity and legibility needed for longer passages of text, in line with Lexend Deca’s role. This ensures brand communications remain consistent in tone and accessible across all formats, even when our primary fonts cannot be used.
