Fancy being the face of the University and supporting aspiring students?
As a Student Ambassador, you’ll get to share your university experience with prospective students and their supporters, all while building your CV and earning while you study. Whether you commit to the odd event here and there or get stuck in more regularly, it’s entirely up to you.
New for academic year 2026-27
We’ve introduced a tiered scheme, giving you a clear path to grow within the role.
All applicants will be assessed against the criteria for the role. Successful candidates will either be offered a Student Ambassador position or, where they may not fully meet the criteria but demonstrate strong potential, an Event Marshal position.
Event Marshals will be supported to develop their skills and experience, with opportunities to progress to a Student Ambassador role in the future.
After 12 months as a Student Ambassador, you’ll be eligible to apply for a Senior Student Ambassador position, taking on more responsibility in the team.
