Rakhee graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a First-class Hons in Operating Department Practice. She has a varied clinical background but has worked primarily in Neurosurgical Scrub. Her preferred specialism was Neurosurgical Oncology and Aneurysm clippings.
Rakhee started at The University of Bolton as an Associate Lecturer before being promoted to Lecturer in 2023. She currently works as a lecturer on the Operating Department Practitioner course. She is also module lead for Advanced Surgical scrub skills.
Research Interests and Research Subject Specialisms:
Non-technical skills for scrub practitioners.
Teaching specialisms:
Advanced surgical scrub- Post Reg and Operating Department Practice.
