Professor Maria Livanou is a psychologist, a registered practitioner with the Health and Care Professions Council, and an academic leader with over 30 years of experience across the UK and international Higher Education sectors. Her career combines an internationally recognised research profile with extensive strategic, operational and academic leadership, spanning quality assurance, curriculum innovation, institutional governance, financial management, research strategy and organisational development. Professor Livanou is currently the Head of the School of Psychology in the University of Greater Manchester.
