Kat has taught at the University of Bolton since 2011. She is Programme Leader for the English Pre Sessional and International Foundation programmes, and she works with UoB students who speak English as a second language. She is currently working with colleagues across the University to develop subject-specific diagnostic assessments and In Sessional provision.
Kat’s research interests include teaching and learning strategies for English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and how speaking English as a second language affects students’ engagement with plagiarism.
