I am a senior lecturer in structural engineering and the course leader for the MSc Civil Engineering at University of Bolton since 2005. I have more than 20 years of academic experience in Higher Education in the UK, the Middle East and North Africa.
I hold a PhD in computer-aided structural engineering from the University of Leeds (1992), an MSc (Eng) in structural engineering from the University of Liverpool (1988), and Ingenieure D'etat in Civil Engineering from Algiers Polytechnics (1985). I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Charter Member of the Structural Engineering Institute of the ASCE.
