The University of Greater Manchester is delighted to be the official sponsor of the Degree Apprentice of the Year category at the GM Skills Awards 2026.
The GM Skills Awards celebrate achievements and excellence across the Further Education and Skills landscape in Greater Manchester.
This category recognises a Degree Apprentice who has excelled in their apprenticeship programme. The winner will have demonstrated outstanding growth in their skills, knowledge and behaviours, and significant contribution to their workplace or industry.
The University of Greater Manchester delivers industry-focused undergraduate and postgraduate programmes with a strong emphasis on teaching quality and employability.
Our sponsorship reflects a shared commitment to celebrating the impact of degree apprenticeships in developing highly skilled, work-ready individuals who contribute to economic growth and employer success across Greater Manchester.
