As part of our commitment to support accessibility to study a full-time undergraduate course at the University of Greater Manchester (UGM), prospective students who meet the criteria below and attend one of our Open Events will be eligible for a reduced offer—equivalent to one A Level grade lower (8 UCAS points) than our standard entry requirements for full-time UGM undergraduate courses.
At the University of Greater Manchester, we are committed to making Higher Education accessible to everyone. One of our key missions is to raise aspirations and open doors for individuals who may face barriers to university, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds.
We’re committed to offering high-quality education to all individuals with the potential to succeed, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Our Access and Participation Plan (APP) forms a key element of the University's overall strategy.
There's no need to apply separately.
If you're eligible, you'll be automatically considered for the reduced offer through the information you provide in your UCAS or direct application form.
Just make sure your application is complete and accurate.
Disclaimer - Please note that the MBChB Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery and other allied health courses are not included in the scheme.
The University of Greater Manchester is proud to deliver a supportive learning environment, where we put you, and your needs, first.
