I have enjoyed a long and varied career in health and social care, having first trained as a general adult nurse more than 30 years ago. I spent most of my professional life working within social care settings, community care, and hospices.
I have specialised in care of the older person, dementia care services, and end-of-life provision. More recently, I have made the move into training and education within health and social care.
