Internships and Placements

Work placements and internships — what is the difference?

Work placements and internships — what is the difference?

  • An internship is where you provide paid employment for an undergraduate or graduate for a few weeks or months

  • A work placement is where a student comes to work in your organisation for 9-12 months and the placement is usually based around their current learning in the curriculum. This usually happens between their second and third years of study.

Whether you’re searching for a graduate job, summer internship or part-time work alongside your studies, we can offer information and advice to support you in applying for work.
