2022/23 Funding Information for Part Time Post Graduate Certificate in Education 14+ (Level 7), Professional Graduate Certificate in Education 14+ (Level 6) and Certificate in Education 14+ (Level 5) courses This information sheet provides details of the financial arrangements for those intending to begin one of the above courses at the University of Bolton in the 2022/23 academic year.

There may be additional support available from the government for students who are studying PGCE courses in certain subject areas. Please visit https://www.gov.uk/teacher-training-funding or contact your course leader to find further information.
For PGCE in Mathematics, students must have previously attained a degree qualification of a minimum of 2.2 level. The bursary is £26,000, paid over the duration of the course.
For PGCE in English, students must have previously attained a degree qualification of a minimum of 2.1 level. The bursary is £12,000 paid over the duration of the course.
