Why Consider a Career in Community Arts and Theatre?

Theatre jobs don’t always have to be on stage! Community arts workers get to use their creativity in a different way while doing something great for the local area!

Community arts or community theatre can mean a lot of different things and can include semi-professional or wholly amateur projects. For a lot of performing arts students, it’s not really an area that springs to mind, but here we shine the light on why this career path is highly fulfilling.

A performance-related degree doesn’t always have to lead to the stage. In fact, a lot of graduates discover their passion for working backstage, in production management and many other exciting roles.

One role you shouldn’t overlook is being a community arts worker, as this role allows you to deploy your creative skills in many different ways.
